General Hospital Star Robyn Bernard Died At Age 64
Robyn Bernard, known for her role as Terry Brock on the popular television series “General Hospital” for 16 years, has passed away at the age of 64. The law officials in San Jacinto, California confirmed her death on March 12.
Authorities found Bernard’s body in an open field behind a business while responding to a call related to a death investigation. This information was reported by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department through Deadline. According to the Riverside County Coroner, the body was identified via fingerprints after deputies discovered it in the early morning hours.

However, the cause of Bernard’s death has not yet been determined, according to the coroner. An autopsy is performed but it will take several more weeks for the results of the full toxicology report to be available.
Born in Gladewater, Texas on May 26, 1959, Bernard had a passion for performing since she was young. She started singing gospel tunes with her sister Crystal, who later starred in the sitcom “Wings” in 1990.
In the journey of Bernard’s career, she had various small roles during the 1980s and ’90s, but she’s most famous for her role in the soap opera General Hospital, where she portrayed Terry Brock.
During the 1980s, Bernard made appearances on TV shows like The Facts Of Life, Simon & Simon, and Whiz Kids, paving the way for her significant role as Terry Brock, daughter of the show’s antagonist, D.L. Brock, played by David Groh.
She was a regular cast member for six years, appearing in 145 episodes before leaving in 1990. One notable storyline involved her character being falsely led to believe she had committed murder, which led to a thrilling manhunt filmed on Catalina Island, a unique occurrence for a soap opera. Terry’s time on the show came to an end when she landed a recording contract and decided to move away.
