The ‘Donnells, an incredibly talented family band from Australia, stole the spotlight on The Voice when their adorable 3-year-old, Amy O’Donnell, took the stage. The audience couldn’t help but let out an “aww” as she walked out.

However, it quickly became clear that there was much more to this family than just their cute toddler. The seven-piece band impressed everyone with their rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Edge Of Glory,” showcasing not only their beautiful voices but also their exceptional instrumental skills.

Although the judges initially had their backs turned to the stage, they could sense that something special was happening when the crowd reacted to Amy’s entrance. It wasn’t long before they understood what the commotion was all about as the O’Donnells delivered a remarkable bluegrass version of the song. You can see their performance below:

The band consists of husband and wife, John Snr and Wendy, along with their children John, Jacqui, Katelyn, and their grandkids Johnny and Amy. With all seven family members lending their voices, the vocal harmonies were absolutely mesmerizing. On top of that, four of them showcased their instrumental prowess by playing the banjo, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and mandolin throughout the performance.

Jacqui kicked off the song with her stunning lead vocals, perfectly supported by Katelyn and Wendy in the background. John, the family patriarch, proved himself to be a skilled banjo player, adding an infectious picking melody that drove the folk arrangement forward.

The O’Donnells’ talent and heartwarming performance are truly a sight to behold. It’s no wonder their video has gained so much attention.

Online viewers consistently applauded their performance and called them a talented and beautiful family. One YouTube viewer praised, “They were awesome, Keith definitely should have chosen them!! They do something so different with the songs! Would have loved to hear more.”
