Richard Goodall Dazzles The Crowd With His Joyful “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” Performance
On a festive Friday evening, thousands gathered at Monument Circle to kick off the holiday season in style, with a special performance by America’s Got Talent winner Richard Goodall. The crowd was treated to an unforgettable rendition of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” as Goodall’s powerful voice filled the air, perfectly complementing the dazzling lights of the Circle of Lights celebration.
The atmosphere was electric, with the audience singing along and feeling the joy that Goodall brought to the stage. His magnetic presence and heartfelt delivery made the night even more magical, leaving a lasting impression on all who were there.
It was a performance that captured the spirit of the holidays and showcased the talent that has made Goodall a standout performer since his AGT victory.
After being released just a few days, the video attracted thousands of views and received an abundance of positive feedback. One comments, “What an awesome rendition of this favorite classic song. Keep singing Richard! I’ll be listening.” Another continues, “What range. I loved every song on AGT and now I want to hear this genre. Amazing. What a voice!”
In an exclusive conversation with NBC Insider, Goodall revealed that despite his surge in popularity following his win on AGT, he has no plans to quit his janitor job at West Vigo High School.
While many have speculated that he might leave his day job to pursue music full-time, Goodall stays humble, balancing his school responsibilities with an increasingly busy performance schedule. His decision to keep both roles speaks to his grounded nature and commitment to staying true to his roots.
“I’m still at the school, but things are going on behind the scenes, you know, some concerts are popping up,” Goodall shared. “I’m actually leaving tomorrow for Riverside, California, to do a festival lights thing… A lot of amazing things are just popping up, and so I’ll continue to work at the school until, you know, I can’t anymore.”
