We all know and love Jimmy Fallon for his hilarious and charming hosting skills, but what will happen if he belts out his voice to sing?

Jimmy Fallon took “The Voice” by surprise during a recent episode, delivering an unexpected rendition of “I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near).” In a delightful twist, the renowned talk show host decided to sneak into a blind audition, aiming to surprise the coaches with his vocal skills.

Carson Daly, the show’s host, set the stage for the unexpected performance, teasing the coaches with the promise of a surprise artist. Fallon, 48, then captivated the audience with his performance, leaving judges such as Kelly Clarkson and Niall Horan in stitches upon revealing his identity. The hilarity continued as Chance the Rapper joined in on the fun and dropped his jaws when Fallon showed off his dance moves.

This left only Blake Shelton, whose chair was still turning away from the stage. Fallon then decided to take the matter into his own hands by pressing the button himself as hard as he could, forcing Shelton to turn around.

“You can’t do that! You know the rules,” said Shelton, but it was clear that he wasn’t annoyed at all.

In a lighthearted conversation, Shelton then joked about forming a supergroup named “Different Directions,” a playful nod to Horan’s One Direction past. The dynamic among the coaches, including newcomers Horan and Chance, echoed a sense of camaraderie, with both newcomers expressing their enjoyment of the show’s familial atmosphere.

Fallon’s departure from the stage was marked by jovial banter, further endearing him to both the audience and the coaches.

“It feels like going to camp. You get here the first day like, ‘Oh, I don’t know everybody.’ Within a couple of days, you’re all a big family,” shared a joyous Chance.

“I really enjoyed the blind audition experience. It was nerve-wracking at the start, but once you get into it, like Chance said, everyone around the show is great. It’s good fun — apart from Blake,” Horan playfully added.

This season, Clarkson’s return for her ninth stint brought her joy, emphasizing the fulfillment she finds in guiding artists on their musical journeys. Despite Shelton’s playful jab at Clarkson’s invitation to collaborate off-screen, their banter highlighted the close-knit relationship among the show’s stars, setting the stage for a season filled with talent, laughter, and memorable moments. Jimmy Fallon’s hilarious performance is simply the icing on the cake of a very successful and welcoming season of The Voice.
