12-Year-Old’s Incredible “O Sole Mio” Duet Moves Patrizio Buanne To His Knees

Have you heard the name of Amira Willighagen before? At just nine years old, Amira Willighagen stunned the world when she won the sixth season of Holland’s Got Talent. Her powerful voice and natural ability left audiences speechless, and since that moment, she’s blossomed into a remarkable young talent.

The young girl was given an incredible chance to perform on stage with a music legend. Patrizio Franco Buanne, a renowned Neapolitan-Austrian singer, had learned about Amira’s remarkable talent and personally invited her to join him for a duet.

The event, Classics is Groot, took place for the first time in Pretoria, South Africa on 30 July 2016. As soon as Amira started singing, her powerful voice stunned the audience, leaving no room for doubt.

Her rich, operatic falsetto blended beautifully with Buanne’s deep baritone as they performed a heartfelt rendition of the iconic 1898 Neapolitan opera song, “O Sole Mio.”

The orchestra set the stage beautifully for the duet, but it was the opera singers who truly shined that day.

Among the many performers, it was the duet between Amira and Buanne that left a lasting impression. While the night was filled with talent, their performance stood out as the highlight, captivating the entire audience.

Patrizio has been singing for over two decades, but it doesn’t seem to faze Amira at all. Instead, the two deliver an outstanding performance, with their voices blending together perfectly.

Patrizio’s admiration for Amira’s natural talent is undeniable. Near the end of their performance, Buanne dramatically drops to his knees and kisses her hand as both of their voices soar to an emotional peak, leaving the audience captivated. It is a tribute to her incredible vocals. At one moment, Amira’s voice literally gives Patrizio chills.
