Embarking on a musical journey that began at the tender age of eight, Luca Brugnoli, a diligent student at Ardingly College, found his voice in the celebrated halls of the Libera boys’ choir. Under the tutelage of founder Robert Prizeman, Luca quickly ascended to the role of lead soloist. His exceptional talent was recognized with a runner-up position at the BBC Young Chorister of the Year in 2022, setting the stage for the release of his debut album, “Rise Up,” the following year.

Yet, showcasing his versatility, Luca has recently explored new musical territories beyond his classical roots, as evidenced by his latest offerings, including a mesmerizing cover of “Love Theme from The Godfather,” sung in Italian as “Parla Piu Piano.” This young Sussex singer, with a voice as pristine as winter’s first snowfall, imbues the melancholic melody with a celestial purity that’s utterly breathtaking.
The release of “Parla Piu Piano” on Valentine’s Day was a great choice, with its Italian lyrics weaving a tale of deep, albeit clandestine, love. The accompanying official music video pairs Luca’s ethereal vocals with the elegance of ballet, performed by the talented Darcey Redman, all captured in tasteful black and white.
“I am delighted to be releasing “Parla Piu Piano”. I have worked very hard musically over the past year and look forward to recording more music later this year. We hope to release two albums in 2024,” said an exciting Luca in a recent interview.
