Priest’s “Hallelujah” Rendition Enchants As Couple Steps Into The Church
Chris and Leah O’Kane had an extraordinary wedding ceremony that they will never forget. Their priest surprised them by singing a beautiful rendition of “Hallelujah.”
Father Kelly, who officiated the wedding, shared, “The bride Leah is from Dublin and the groom Chris is from Cookstown in County Tyrone,” he said. “They were having their reception at a hotel about 10 miles away and chose our church.”
During the rehearsal, Father Kelly jokingly mentioned singing a song for them, and to everyone’s surprise, the bride agreed but didn’t believe he was serious. Prepare yourself to be impressed by Father Ray Kelly’s vocal in the video below:
Many might not know that Father Ray Kelly is known for his incredible voice in his community in County Meath. He is often asked to sing at weddings and funerals and has even released three albums. However, all of this was a mystery to the bride and groom on their special day.
The couple had hired the band Sunlight to provide music for the wedding. As the ceremony came to an end, the band finished playing, and Father Kelly’s backing track started to play. The crowd looked at the band, but they could only shake their heads in disbelief.
