Nuns Spread Joy With Viral Dance Challenge Amid Tough Times

Nobody could have predicted the incredible popularity that the “Jerusalema Challenge” would achieve. It’s hard to imagine that members of the Catholic Church from Brazil to Ireland would join in this global craze with their own amazing entries, but they have, and it’s truly remarkable!

For those who might not know, in late 2019, a South African musician named Master KG uploaded a song titled “Jerusalema” to YouTube. The song quickly went viral, garnering over 1 million views in its first week online! This sparked a trend on TikTok and other social media platforms where people began uploading videos of themselves dancing to the song.

These women have not only recently been practicing their religious beliefs, but they have also been learning the dance moves of a popular dance trend. After filming their performance and sharing it on the internet, they quickly gained immense popularity and became viral sensations themselves! Take a look at their dance in the video provided below.

When these sisters aren’t engaged in teaching the principles of the Catholic faith or providing care for the elderly, they are enthusiastically embracing modern dance challenges in order to uplift the spirits of those around them! This is the reason why this video has garnered an abundance of positive feedback.

One wrote, “I watch this when I feel low and it never fails to make me smile! Their enthusiasm and joy is contagious” while another added, “Can’t stop watching all these beautiful performers. And the song is like it should never end.”
