Moving Performance By Blind Couple Brings Britain’s Got Talent Judge To Tears

Britain’s Got Talent often surprises the audience with stunning performances of talents from around the UK. But the married couple Denise Leigh and Stefan Andrusyschyn’s one is definitely extraordinary in its 17th season.

They brought something unique to the BGT stage. Both are blind, but that didn’t stop them from delivering an incredible performance at their recent audition.

The presenters, Ant and Dec, helped the pair onto the stage, where they won over the audience with their positive and humorous attitude.

When Simon Cowell asked how they were, Leigh admitted, “We’re a bit nervous,” and added, “I need a wee but I’m fine,” causing the audience to burst into laughter.

After introducing themselves, the duo got ready for their performance. Before they started, Andrusyschyn bumped into the piano and joked, “You’d think I was blind or something.”

Leigh and Andrusyschyn were known for their cheerful personalities, which made it even more surprising when they performed the dramatic “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” from ‘The Sound of Music’.

Watch their incredible performance in the video below, which has garnered 1.3 million views within 2 weeks.

What was truly astonishing, though, was Leigh’s rich, elegant operatic voice. It left the judges stunned and the audience in shock. One judge, Bruno Tonioli, even cried during the performance, wiping away tears as the couple’s son walked onstage to congratulate them.

It’s no wonder that the couple received a ‘yes’ from all four judges.

Scrolling down the video, you see numerous positive comments from viewers around the world, praising what the pair performed.

One YouTube viewer wrote, “These two are truly meant for each other; the banter got my like straight away even before I could hear a note. Then of course she sang beautifully and that like Bruno just broke me. AMAZING!”

Another continued, “I had goosebumps when Denise hit those last few notes!!! I hope they win!! They are so amazing!”
