At first, Michael Bublé might have assumed Fairbanks was an admirer trying to catch his eye with her raised placard—a common sight for stars like him. However, he was in for a surprise when he saw the other side of her sign, which boldly invited him to sing a duet with her on stage. The audience was unaware that they were on the cusp of experiencing a spectacular performance.

As Bublé accepted her offer, the audience erupted in applause. Fairbanks wasted no time in showcasing her heavenly vocal talent. Even with his status as an iconic figure in music, Bublé proved he’s down-to-earth, momentarily fumbling his words during the performance. Nevertheless, he adeptly provided harmonic accompaniment to Fairbanks, who skillfully attuned her pitch to Bublé’s as their performance progressed. They shared encouraging glances, jointly navigating their way to perfect harmony.

Michael Bublé, known the world over as an American vocal icon, has captivated audiences globally not only with his original works but also through his ability to revive overlooked songs of the past. One of the most popular covers is Nina Simone’s timeless hit “Feeling Good.” In a memorable moment, 15-year-old fan Sam Hollyman had the unique opportunity to join Bublé on stage at the Birmingham National Indoor Arena to perform this very song, much to the delight of all present.
