No matter what it is, the segment never fails to bring laughs. It’s a fun way to see a new side of famous personalities while enjoying musical creativity at its finest.
When Christina Aguilera appeared on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon had her play his famous “Wheel of Musical Impressions” game.
“How it works is we’re gonna take turns hitting this button here, which activates the musical impressions generator,” the comedian explained. “It will land on one random singer that one of us can do an impression of and then one random song title… Whoever’s turn it is has to do an impression of that musician doing that song.”
After nailing an impression of Cher, Aguilera moved on to Britney Spears, and her impersonation was spot on. She sang “This Little Piggy” to the tune of Spears’ hit song “…Baby One More Time,” and the result was both hilarious and impressive.
Fallon was blown away, giving her a standing ovation. He excitedly exclaimed, “Oh, my God! That is something I’ve always wanted! That is amazing. I loved that so much!” The audience loved it, too, and Aguilera’s performance was a highlight of the night.
