Watch Talented Family Rock Band Playing The Classic ‘Comfortably Numb

The RUMPUS (Rumpus Band) is a talented rock band consisting of four young members (all from the same family) from Auckland, New Zealand. They cover classic rock guitar-based music and perform both covers and original songs. The band’s music is described as guitar-oriented rock with an upbeat, soulful pop twist and vocal harmonies.

Watch the video of the band paying a wonderful tribute to Pink Floyd with their classic ‘Comfortably Numb!

When talking about this video, the band said, “This is “Comfortably Numb” by Pink Floyd. This is one of the songs that we perform and video live in our rumpus room. We have a big list of possible songs that we might play and this is a song that Daniel said he really wanted to do. We really love the song because of the emotion in it and Daniel loves the feel of the lead guitar and really wanted the challenge of playing it. We have slowly been getting our recordings better and we’ve ended up putting all instruments though a mixer and then going directly into our zoom recorder. We have to try to get all levels perfect when we play it as we can’t control individual instrument volumes afterwards. We think it worked out really well though :)”.
