This 10-week-old baby cheetah also gets his companion – and adorable 7-week-old puppy when he needs it most. As Emmett (name of the cub) is so shy, he is given a little emotional support dog, Cullen. A friendship blossoms between the two. They grow up happily and healthily with each other.
Cheetahs have long been known as the fastest land animals on Earth. But do you know that these majestic cats are extremely sensitive? They find it hard to socialize with one another as they are so anxious. They also get too stressed to breed which leads to a decrease in their population.
Emmett is no exception. The cheetah cub tends to be nervous all the time, making him difficult to integrate into his community.
The staff of the Columbus Zoo, Ohio where Emmett was living decided to help him. They found him a friend – Cullen the cute puppy. And this solution worked, guys. Cullen did an excellent job. Emmett became more open, social, and playful. The pair got along well with each other, building up their happy childhood.
