An Emotional Haka Greeted Sis Fata Upon Her Return Home

It must be a heartwarming moment to be welcomed by family and loved ones after returning from a distant place.

A woman named Sis Fata returns home from Honolulu to be greeted by her family, who beautifully perform an emotional haka to honor her. Maori culture is renowned for their ceremonial dance, the haka, and it is most famously performed by the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team before each match.

However, the internet is filled with stunning haka performances by students, wedding guests, and various individuals. Contrary to popular belief, both men and women partake in this powerful dance, which is used to pay homage to esteemed guests, commemorate weddings and funerals, and mark significant milestones.

In this lovely video, we see Fata as she arrives at Auckland airport, unaware of the heartwarming surprise awaiting her. Her face instantly lights up with joy as she spots her eager welcoming committee. Watch the breathtaking video below:

This particular haka, unlike some others, exudes nothing but love and respect. It is evident that they are overjoyed to have Sis Fata back with them. Even before the haka concludes, the camera cuts back to Fata, tears streaming down her face, overwhelmed by the immense love and gratitude displayed by her family.

When the video was shared on YouTube, it got much attention, grabbing over 4 million views with 63K likes. Many viewers all around the world left comments, expressing their feelings.
While many people said the culture really touched their soul, some couldn’t stop crying and felt jealous with the lady because they also wanted to go home.

One wrote, “Every time I watch this type of dance it speaks to my soul and I don’t even understand the culture. I’m from Jamaica but somehow we touch my soul.”

Another added, “I cry every single time I watch a Haka. I can feel the emotion, the love, the pride etc. I truly believe it is the most beautiful thing to see.”
