How good a dancer is he? What style does he like best? If it is classical ballet why has he not auditioned for every ballet company in the country? I do not think he is as passionate as he should be. When I was young I auditioned for everything. I would have taken chorus work or even walk ons to just be on stage in anything.
tell him he has to actively look for auditions to go to. Tell him to take himself to a modelling agency. If his looks are good, he is tall and he has the advantage of dance training., he should be able to get work if again he is happy to do whatever comes his way. Model agencies love models who are capable of doing whatever work comes in. Your house rules are fair. He just needs to get off his butt and start hustling.
