Among the standout performers is 21-year-old singer-songwriter, Abi Carter.

Abi received high praise from the judges, with Lionel Richie describing her performance as the “best” he’s heard from her. He added, “it was so delicate, it was so soulful. I mean it was personal.” Katy Perry was equally impressed, calling what Abi did, “angelic frequency,” and noting “it was on another level”.

Luke Bryan chimed in with humor, suggesting that Abi’s rendition made Richie forget he wrote the original “Hello.” He commended her magical voice throughout the performance, describing it as tremendous. He said “you just gave that magic thing in your voice the whole performance. It was tremendous.”
