A Girl Hit Millions Of Views With The Cover Of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams”

In 2020, a new version of Fleetwood Mac’s hit song “Dreams”, captured the hearts of viewers worldwide. Lanie, a dedicated fan, delivered the song of one of her favorite bands of all time, which quickly soared in popularity upon its release on YouTube. Her performance received a response that was out of this world.

Everything captivated millions of viewers, from her expressions while singing to her vocal prowess. However, this cover also sparked a significant debate as many compared her singing to that of Stevie Nicks, the original artist of the hit song “Dreams.”

Some believed that Lanie’s version of the song was better than the original and that made Nicks’s loyal fans annoyed. Despite debates, her video instantly went viral with over 48 million views. Let’s enjoy the new version of “Dreams” in the video below:

A wave of compliments was seen in the comments. A man said, “It’s pretty damn hard to cover a Stevie Nicks song and not sound second class. But Lanie knocked this out of the park. Extremely well done.” Another also praised her talent, saying, “That’s absolutely FLAWLESS. Stevie is not a voice you can replicate. One of the most recognizable voices in the history of music and she just SLAYED. Amazing.”

Not only praising her voice, some have recognized a younger generation keeping the classics alive, and that’s truly wonderful and deserving of respect. Sharing the thought that Stevie Nicks would surely be proud to have her hit sung by a talented young voice. “You’re voice is extravagant. Stevie Nicks would love this as much as I do. Keep it up ma’am you’re going places. God bless you”

The video was picked up by major news channels and Lanie was contacted by Kevin Jonas Sr., father of the Jonas Brothers, who offered her a management contract with Jonas Group Entertainment.
