So my gf asked me to play a game of truth or dare. Everything went fine until I decided to ask for my first dare. She dared me to give her $300, even though she knows I’m unemployed. I obviously said no since I don’t have any income and she got mad at me. She said I ruined the game for her. AITA?

thebear1988 −  NTA. Who the f**k plays truth or dare like that

Biksuit −  NTA….. It’s a game of truth or dare, Not “I dare you to sign you house/social security/give your money to me?” “OH YOU DIDN’T? “PFFF YOU RUINED THE GAME” wtf kind of p**cho chick are you with LOL

International-Chef33 −  NTA. Then when it’s her turn dare her to give you $400.

HarryJ92 −  NTA – honestly it sounds like she deliberately started the game of Truth or Dare because she needs $300 for something and was trying to manipulate you into giving it to her.

Zealousideal_Pear_68 −  NTA…. i dare you to d**p her……..

Cute_Marionberry2104 −  Nta, it’s a game of dare, not a public fine.

Calm_Psychology5879 −  NTA. Red flag on the girl. Does she think you are unemployed AND broke, or unemployed with a bit of a nest egg? This matters for her motive.

TeenySod −  NTA, that’s not a dare, that’s an order. I’d be like “I dare you to get over me, I’m out”

[Reddit User] −  NTA, d**p the discount gold digger.

[Reddit User] −  NTA. I feel like this was setup and your gf was waiting for you to say dare so she can ask for it. Why tf would you ask for 300$ from unemployed person anyway?

Was it unreasonable for the girlfriend to dare him for money, or did the OP make the right decision by standing his ground, given his current financial situation? What would you have done in this situation? Share your thoughts below!
