Two Girls Turn Their Backs And Then Stun The Judges With Jaw-Dropping Footwork
When you hear the term “clogging,” your mind probably jumps to images of two Dutch girls in traditional outfits, dancing in wooden shoes. It’s a common association. But there’s more to this dance style than that classic image.
Far from being limited to wooden clogs and European folk dance, this energetic style has evolved over time, blending with other forms of dance and gaining popularity around the world.
Competitive clogging has been gaining momentum across the U.S., and at the Showdown of Champions in Knoxville, TN, two sisters took the spotlight. Morgan and Madison delivered a high-energy performance to Keith Urban’s “Hit the Ground Runnin’,” and the song couldn’t have been more perfect for their routine.
Dressed in white pants and plaid shirts, they stood with their backs to the audience as the music began. The moment they turned around, their feet moved at lightning speed. The crowd quickly joined in, cheering and clapping along, as the sisters’ movements remained perfectly synchronized.
