Young Harpist Alisa Sadikova Blows Everyone Away With “The Fountain”

Have you ever heard the name of Alisa Sadikova? Alisa is not your typical young girl from Saint Petersburg, Russia, but a child prodigy classical harpist. While most children her age are busy with toys and games, Alisa found her passion in mastering one of the most challenging and beautiful instruments — the harp.

From an early age, she displayed extraordinary talent, quickly earning recognition as a music prodigy. Her performances have captivated audiences far beyond her hometown.

Alisa Sadikova’s journey as a harpist began in an unexpected and magical way. Harpist Olga Shevelich, a family friend, discovered her talent. The little girl effortlessly played back the piece Shevelich had just performed, despite having never touched the instrument before.

“I was struck with awe,” says Shevelich. “I’m still struck with awe every time I hear her play. Only a genius can do what she does.” Recognizing her rare talent, Shevelich became Alisa’s mentor, helping her nurture that natural brilliance.

It’s no wonder as Alisa grows, she studies at the Saint Petersburg’s State Conservatory in Russia under maestro Vladimir Spivakov ‘s sponsorship.

Alisa has won numerous international music awards and performed at famous venues like Carnegie Hall. She shines in both solo concerts and orchestras for performances.

In a performance, beautifully dressed in white, she plays ‘The Fountain’ by Marcel Lucien Grandjany and makes everyone speechless. She looks like a professional as her fingers glide like flowing water over the strings.

Prepared to be amazed how perfect she performed in the video below, which has hit over 7M views:
