This Father-Daughter Dance Routine Show How To Have Fun Together

As the world paused in 2020, creativity thrived in unexpected ways. Quarantine turned living rooms into concert halls and kitchens into dance floors. People stuck at home began sharing videos of spontaneous dance routines, impromptu jam sessions, and hilarious skits.

These clips, filled with energy and humor, quickly became viral hits, spreading laughter and connection when the world needed it most. What started as a way to pass time became a reminder that even in isolation, we can find joy through music, movement, and a little creativity.

In 2020, Ali Hoffman, a digital artist, and her father, motivational speaker Michael Hoffman, captured the internet’s heart with their funny dance and lip-sync video. Their small kitchen became the stage for their viral performances, filled with energy.

As the quarantine occurred, they were stuck at home. So, the duo started the #2K20QuarantineChallenge, encouraging others to join in and spread some joy. “The one thing everybody likes about the video is it’s just pure, unadulterated joy,” said Michael.

A dance challenge quickly went viral, gaining attention from people worldwide. Even Oreo asked to feature the video in their new ad campaign.

The song, “Hold My Hand” by Jess Glynne, was the perfect choice. Its lyrics resonated with Ali and Michael, who felt it captured the spirit of what everyone was going through. The dance became more than just fun — it connected people across the globe.

“When the times seem a little dark it’s just a call to be more LIGHT!” Ali shared the video on her and her father’s YouTube channel. “Let your joy fly, crank the tunes and dance in the kitchen!”
