Shania Twain Rocks Glastonbury 2024 With “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” After Losing Her Voice To Lyme Disease

Shania Twain made her debut at the U.K.’s Glastonbury Festival 2024 with a hit-packed set. She kicked things off with “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and continued with favorites like “I’m Gonna Getcha Good!,” “Any Man of Mine,” and “Honey, I’m Home.”

The crowd’s energy peaked when she closed with “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” It seemed she saved the most euphoric singalong for last. As the opening synth notes played, Twain shouted, “Let’s go, Glastonbury!”

Dressed in a black miniskirt and boots, she rocked the Pyramid Stage during the afternoon “legend’s slot,” a time previously graced by stars like Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, and Kylie Minogue.

Despite a long battle with lyme disease affecting her voice, Shania Twain’s remarkable performance on the main stage at Glastonbury 2024 showcased her resilience and star power. Her road to recovery has been nothing short of inspiring.

Like many performers at Glastonbury 2024, Shania faced sound issues during her set. Former pop star Coleen Nolan defended her on the TV chat show Loose Women, commenting:

“I was watching Shania thinking she is having major issues as she was constantly pulling the ear piece out and putting it back in […] I could tell she couldn’t hear, as she wasn’t in tune on some of it. But again, I thought, at least she’s proving that it’s live!”

Many viewers flooded in the comments, raising their voices to defend her. One wrote, “Love that she’s found a way to make her voice work on these songs after what she’s been through. She still looks amazing. Good on her.”
