Gaither Vocal Band Casts A Spell With Their Soulful Rendition Of “Can’t Help Falling In Love”

“Can’t Help Falling in Love” is a beautiful song, recorded originally by Elvis Presley in March 1961 and released in November of that same year. There are many stunning covers of this song and one of the most outstanding ones is performed by the Gaither Vocal Band. They sing the song for their loved ones and all of us to enjoy.

In their rendition, Todd Suttles starts the song, looking lovingly at his wife, Michelle, as he sings. His deep baritone voice captures the emotion of the song, especially when he hits the word “but” around 21 seconds in.

As he sings, the other members join in, adding background vocals. From right to left, Reggie Smith, Adam Crabb, Bill Gaither, and Wes Hampton lend their voices to the harmonious blend.

Seated across from the singers are their beautiful wives, including Gloria Gaither and Ladye Love Smith. At 55 seconds, the men sing in unison, each contributing their unique musical talents. During their performance, the men consistently smiled brightly, reflecting the joy they bring to the music.

For those who might not notice, the band has dedicated their lives to praising and honoring God. Even though the song they’re singing isn’t about God, their performance still touches the hearts of millions.

You might get goosebumps as Todd stands and sings directly to Michelle. It seems to express his desire for her to take his hand and his whole life. That’s what true love is all about: supporting each other through both the good times and the bad.

Many online viewers have the same feeling, totally captivated by what the group performed. One YouTube viewer wrote, “I loved how the men’s wives were there listening to them sing and look at them but gee it would have been so much nicer if they had been standing or sitting together with their wives”.
