Calum Scott’s Angelic Voice Paired With Amputee Musa Motha’s Beautiful Dance Lights Up AGT Stage

Calum Scott possesses an incredible voice so it’s no reason whyCalum Scott’s performance of his hit song “You Are the Reason” on America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League was already amazing.

However, the performance in February 2024 reached an even higher level with the appearance of South African dancer Musa Motha. Despite being a cancer survivor who lost his leg during his battle with the disease, Motha never lost his inspiring spirit and talent.

Scott started the performance with his iconic vocal line, singing it beautifully as always. Simon Cowell, who had given Scott the golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent in 2015, looked on proudly as Scott poured his heart into the song. After the first chorus, Scott introduced Motha, who walked onstage with a pair of walking sticks, but quickly discarded one and began an enchanting dance.

The combination of Scott’s emotive vocal performance and Motha’s passionate dance created an incredibly inspiring moment. It is truly awe-inspiring to witness a man with one leg move so gracefully, but Motha brought even more to the stage. His unwavering passion for his craft radiates from him, and witnessing someone so fully immersed in the present moment is a genuine delight to observe.

After the performance, Scott praised Motha, “You are such an inspiration. You’re so incredible. It’s a pleasure and an honor to share the stage with you, and this is just the beginning. You are gonna be a superstar.”

Motha, visibly moved by Scott’s words, expressed his disbelief at being given the opportunity to perform with Scott, “It’s such an honor – I couldn’t believe it when I was told that I’m going to perform with him. This is a dream come true.”
