This 4-Year-Old Prodigy Can Speak 7 Different Languages, But It’s Her Magnetic Charisma That Captivates Us All

In a world where honing skills can often take a lifetime, some stand out as naturally gifted from the get-go. Bella Devyatkina, a four-year-old prodigy from Moscow, has left the globe in awe on the “Little Big Shots” stage, showcasing her ability to fluently speak not just one, two, but seven different languages! While many of us work hard to master a second language, Bella navigates through seven with ease, embodying the essence of a born talent.

Her prowess isn’t just confined to languages, either. Bella’s confidence is striking, especially for her tender age. Even though she’s a preschooler, Bella’s completely unfazed by the glare of studio lights or the gaze of hundreds in the audience, conversing effortlessly in multiple tongues. And if you think that’s impressive, wait till you see her interaction with host Shane Jacobson—a blend of wit and spontaneity that’ll have you in stitches. Check it out below:

Shane Jacobson quickly learned not to underestimate Bella. As he read from the autocue, Bella mimicked him word for word, proving she’s as observant as she is linguistically gifted. When Jacobson quipped about looking like a prince, Bella’s response was as honest as it gets, comparing him to a koala instead. Her candid remark had the audience roaring with laughter. She also humbled the host, while setting the tone for an unforgettable show at the same time.

Another highlight of Bella’s appearance was a linguistic challenge set in a mock ‘supermarket’ with stalls representing different languages. Bella’s task? To shop in German for sausages, in Arabic for falafel, and so on. Of course, the young girl completed the task with flying colors, and she did it with such natural flair and humor, particularly when she walked away “without paying” for her items. The segment didn’t just highlight Bella’s incredible linguistic skills but also her charismatic presence on stage.

As of 2020, Bella’s linguistic prowess has expanded to eight languages, earning her the Global Child Prodigy Award. Known as a polyglot, she has a YouTube channel where she delights viewers by speaking in languages like Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and Greek, among others. And of course, as she gets older, Bella’s impressive range of linguistic prowess can only get much, much better.
